Ever since the founding of new China, especially since the reform and opending up, with the thriving of various industies, construction of museums has gained unprecedented vitality. China has so far more than 2,000 museums of various kinds throught the country, which have formed a fairly complete system. The pictures on the stamps showed five typical museums established by the State after the reform and opening up
