Background Informations:

The Jinmao Tower, standing by the side of the Huangpu River of Shanghai, is an 88-storey skyscraper, the highest of its kind in China and the third highest in the world. Completed on 28th August 1998,this intelligent high-grade building integrates functions of office, bussiness and hotel, and has won domestic and international prizes for its design. The Park Guell, located on a hillside in Barcelona, Spain, is one of the masterpieces of Antonio Gaudi, an outstanding architect. Built in 1900, it displays romantic imagination and superb structuring principles with its unique and wonderful design. Different in style, the buildings selected by the two countries for the jointly issued stamps form a wonderful contrast.
