Background Informations:
On 12 October 2005, the State Post Bureau will issue a souvenir sheet of commemorative stamp, "the 10th National Games of the People's Repubic of China", with a face balue of 6 yuan. The picture on the stamp is entitled "10th National Games of the People's Repubic of China".
China's 10th National Games was held in Jiangsu Province from October 12 to 23, 2005. The 10th National Games is considered the "Big Exercise" for the Beijng 2008 Olympic Games. Altogether 9,922 athletes-the biggest of all national games-competed in the 32 big events and 357 small events. This grand assembly reviewed the competitive standard of China's athletes, and displayed their high spirits.
